Biography

Johnstone Omukoto is a Research Scientist II at the Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research Institute (KMFRI), Mombasa, Kenya. He is involved with marine and coastal fisheries research. He also works on institutional and individual projects as well as a collaborative research on international multidisciplinary projects such as ESPA funded Participatory modelling of wellbeing trade-offs in coastal Kenya (P-Mowtick) and Sustainable Poverty Alleviation from Coastal Ecosystem Services (SPACES). In Estuarize-WIO, Mr. Omukoto plays the role of Work Package 2 (User groups) country coordinator for Kenya and contributing to WP4 (modelling).
